Any banner advertisements you see will relate to products or similar products you have viewed whilst browsing our website on your computer or other digital devices.
The advertisements are provided by Hatch, directly from our in house advertising and marketing team or from our marketing partner Netkandi Limited using ‘cookies’ that are placed on our browser when you visit our site. You can remove or disable these cookies at any time.
If you want to know how to do this, please look at your browser menu, or check out the instructions on www.allaboutcookies.org. Please note that turning off cookies will restrict your use of our website.
What is a Cookie?

Emails and Marketing Emails
As part of the registration process on our site and for our newsletter, we collect personal information. At the point of registration, we give you the option to ‘opt in’ to receive marketing emails. If you don’t opt in, you won’t receive a marketing email from us. However if we are lucky enough to receive an order from you, we will email you status updates, for an example, we will email you a confirmation of your order, an email once it’s shipped and as mentioned previously, we will pass your data to our courier who will then email you live tracking and status updates of your delivery.
When you have opted in to receive marketing emails, we use a third party provider, MailChimp, to deliver said emails. We gather statistics such as, email open rates, who clicked on a link using standard practices to help monitor and improve our mail outs. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. Remember you can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any times by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data production officer Gary Toomey email@example.com. Also to note, we will never rent or trade email lists with any other organisations and businesses.
In order to make certain services available to you, we may need to share your personal data with some of our service providers. These include but are not limited to, IT Partners, marketing partners, delivery partners.
Hatch only allows its service providers to handle your personal data when we have confirmed that they, like us, correctly apply the appropriate data protection and security, which in turn means they can only use your data to provide services to Hatch and you and for no other purposes what so ever.
Other third parties
Aside from our typical service providers, Hatch will not disclose your personal information and data to any other third party, your data is yours and it should be kept that way! We will never sell or rent your or any other customer’s data to other organisations, full stop.

If this does happen, we will ensure that the transfer of data will be complaint with data protection laws and all personal data will be secure.

We will not retain your data for longer than necessary, we will only keep it for the purposes set out in this policy and the longest we will keep your data without any activity is a maximum of 6 years, though on average if your account and related data shows inactivity we would usually remove it from our system after 12 months as part of our general practices, no one likes a hoarder!
